Shea Butter Massage Bar
What is a massage bar?
A massage bar is basically a solid lotion bar, but with one major difference. Like lotion bars, a massage bar is solid at room temperature and has a similar appearance to a soap bar.
Why should I get one?
- First, they just work better. Period. You don’t have to worry about their consistency to push them out of a pump, like regular lotion, so you get to use much richer ingredients. Ingredients like beeswax and cocoa butter make up the bulk of this recipe, and you can tell. It works beautifully.
- Second, they are made without water, so you don’t have to use a preservative if you don’t want to.
- Third, you don’t have another plastic bottle to throw away when you’re out. Sustainability is always cool.
This particular recipe is based on beeswax and cocoa butter. Both of these ingredients, along with all of the others, can protect and nourish your skin in ways no other natural or synthetic ingredient can. Bottom line – these lotion bars kick dry-winter-skin butt.
How do I use this?
Rub directly onto dry areas of skin. That's it!
